IGNOU STUDY CENTRE - 2798

Janta Vedic College is running a Study Centre of Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) in the campus since July 2003. Dr Yeshveer Singh Tomar, Principal (On Leave), started the Centre as the first Co-ordinator. Dr Arun Solanki, Reader, Department of Agricultural Economics, took over as the second Co-ordinator between January 2005 and December 2005. Dr Nirmala Devi, Reader, Department of Hindi, is the Co-ordinator since January 2006.

The Center is catering many courses in different fields of study:

B.SC - Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Life Science
B.A. - Hindi, English, Political Science, Socilology, and History
BCA, B.Com, and MBA
M.A. - Hindi, English, Political Science, and History
The Centre has also started a course in Dairy Technology in 2007 under the supervision of Dr Rajbir Singh, Reader, Department of Dairy Science & Technology.

The Centre has well qualified counsellors for all the courses and programmes. A wide array of Certificate and Postgraduate Diploma courses are also being conducted at this Centre.
