DEPARTMENT OF PHYSICS

The Department of Physics has been catering education since 1962 at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. It has also been nourishing research education in various fields including those of atomic and molecular physics, material science and characterization and plasma processing. The department offers research degree leading to Doctor of Philosophy. It is well funded by various government funding agencies.

Master Degree Programme (M.Sc)
This is a 2-year programme. The courses offered in M.Sc Physics include:
